In 2021, [the theme](https://www.un.org/en/observances/women-and-girls-in-science-day) is Women Scientists at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19. This year, women all over the world have carried out vital work to learn more about the virus, as well as treatments and vaccines to combat its effects. So, today, we’re taking the opportunity to share inspirational videos about these women and their work.
