What content partners do you work with?

Boclips helps creators every step of the way. After our team spends some time getting to know you and your content, we will help to deliver your videos and metadata. Once we have your content, we will align it with key data, like subject area, grade level, curriculum, and standards. Your content is then ready to be enjoyed by millions of learners around the world!

Can I collaborate with colleagues on CourseSpark?

Yes, CourseSpark’s “Playlist” feature is a great opportunity for you to save, organize, and share videos with yourself or colleagues. You do not need to purchase a video in order to save or share it in a playlist, so it’s a great way to communicate with team members who may provide feedback or approval.

Are there any ads or commercials in your videos?

Great question! A key component of our strategy for content acquisition is ensuring that all of our content is commercial and advertisement-free and educationally oriented. Our content team reviews sample content from each partner before we agree to work with them, and we clearly communicate with all content partners that we require that all content be completely free from advertisements. We also have a team that removes advertisements, product placement, etc. from videos that are submitted by content partners that originally may have produced their content for YouTube, for example. If you ever notice any aspect of our videos that you consider inappropriate, please let us know and we would be happy to review and edit out the offending content if we agree that it violates our guidelines. I would not anticipate that you all would need to take this route but do want to offer it as an option, should you notice that we may have missed anything in our review of videos during the ingestion process.

How fast can I browse, order, and receive video files?

CourseSpark is designed to help you browse and select videos or podcasts efficiently, with the average search and purchase workflow usually taking only a few minutes. Once you have placed your order, you will receive your video or podcast files, and associated metadata, within a few days. We are happy to expedite the delivery of orders as needed.

Do you offer captions, transcripts, translations, and/or audio descriptions?

What accessibility features, and/or other metadata fields, are provided upon purchase?

Boclips will provide metadata such as the video download file, video title, video description, video length, caption file (if requested), and transcript file (if requested). All caption and transcript files are human-generated and are expected to meet a 99% accuracy level.
